“There’s A Reward” Tribute Concert for Neal Donates to MusiCares

One of the primary missions of The Neal Casal Music Foundation is to make donations to mental health organizations that support musicians in need. We’ve chosen @musicares and @backline.care to help us carry out that part of our mission.

At the September 25, 2019 tribute concert for Neal just one month after he passed, our community generously donated over $25,000 to MusiCares in Neal’s honor.

Part of the proceeds from our summer’s Kickstarter campaign for our two main projects, the Highway Butterfly tribute album and the Tomorrow’s Sky coffee table photography book will be put to good use through MusiCares, as the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief has helped upwards of 16,000 music industry artists and professionals affected by the pandemic.

Being able to donate to these organizations in Neal’s name is a small solace for his absence. Thank you for your continued support.
