I feel so blessed and honored to have the opportunity to take part in an album celebrating the life and music of a great writer and a beautiful soul. Neal and I met many times over the years on the road & through mutual friend groups. He always had a smile on his face and song to share. I was always a fan of Neal’s instrumental music and a fan of his as a guitarist, but it wasn’t until I was asked to be part of this project that I truly dove into his work as a writer. I’m thankful for his music and I’m so thrilled for the release of this album.. There are so many wonderful friends / musicians I’m humbled & privileged to be mentioned among.

Lyrics | No One Above You

Come and watch the evening go
Sinking down into the sea
The night is almost dead and gone
They're all asleep now it's just you and me
You and me to watch the sunrise

I remember everything
Like it was just yesterday
Looking for some songs to sing
You turned to me and said let's' steal away
Steal away to watch the sunset

Everything about you is ten feet tall
There is no one above you
I know that it's true
And everyone around you
They all feel it too
There is no one above you
Everybody loves you

I recall not long ago
I would see you in the street
You’d pass me by without a word
I thought one day if you'd just look at me
Look at me then you would know

Everything about you is ten feet tall
There is no one above you
I know that it's true
Everyone around you they all feel it too
There is no one above you
Everybody loves you
There is no one above you
Everybody loves you
